Batavia Bait & Tackle
Rigging Tips
Fat Head Minnow: Hook is put thru the Eyes.
Simply just weave the hook right thru the eyes,
if you feel any resistance move the around a little
till it slides right thru.
Best used for Crappies and Bass. But it will work for
other species as well. May be used on a Slip Bobber,
or fixed bobber as well.
Here is an another example of a Fat Head Minnow rigged
with the put the bottom lip up thru upper cavity right in
front of the eye socket.
This works when fishing in current. works for all species.
You may use a Jig Head
istead of a hook with both
applications.
Her is an example of a Golden Roach rigged thru the lower Jaw up
thru the upper jaw right inline of the eye cavity.
These examples include both a Jig Head and a Hook. Both
applications work very well for all species. Can be used with or
without a bobber.
Here is an example of a night crawler. Rigged with Red octopus hook for
example purposes only.
The Night Crawler is the bait thas has with stood the test of time. Works for
practicly all species of fresh water fish. May be used with or with out a bobber.
Has multiple applications. When fishin for Blue Gills or other small panfish just
usa a small chunk at a time. Otherwise you will find them steeling you bait off
your hook. When fishing for Bass or other game fish use a the Worm, and only
hook it once. so it presents the fish with a natural presentation.
Remember the more Natural your Bait is in the water, the more likely you are
to fool the fish in biting your Bait!
